Mommy has ALS

Miriam years ago, Miriam was diagnosed with ALS, a degenerative muscular disease that is, tragically, incurable.

With each passing day, Miriam grows weaker and more dependent on physical assistance to survive. Recently, with no other choice, her husband stopped working in order to care for his wife and simultaneously serve as father and mother to eleven children.

The cost of Miriam’s medicines and care, which include special food that travels directly to the stomach and medicines excluded from the Health Ministry’s medical basket, amounts to 30,000 NIS per month!
