When Rachel, once the physical and financial anchor of his home, was diagnosed with serious emotional illness, the entire burden fell on Rachel’s thin shoulders. Suddenly, she found herself raising 7 children on her own, working extra hours to cover rent, food and the ever-soaring expenses, and feeling so, so alone.  As hard as she tried, as many hours as she worked, it was never enough, and before long, red, angry letters arrived in the mail, threatening to cut off the electric, water and gas lines…
